Los Romanes has a local bar and an excellent restaurant in close proximity. A local village store is situated 50 metres away. There are also smaller shops close by for all your needs.
Recommended is the Los Romanes olive oil, made from locally picked olives and pressed within
the village, it has become renowned.

can be found on the lakeside approximately 1km away, serving an excellent choice of
local dishes.
Los
Romanes can be found on the banks of Lake Vinuella and offers breathtaking views
across the turquoise waters to the mountains of the Sierra Alhama and Tejeda.
The
area around
Lake Vinuella is commonly regarded as the Jewel in the Crown of
the
Axarquia region and has become a very popular holiday location.
Lake
Vinuella (Lago Viñuela) is a man made reservoir and the principal source of
water for the eastern part of Malaga which in the early sixties became famous as
the Costa del Sol. The
Lake now offers leisure opportunities such as boating (no motor boats are
allowed on the Lake), fishing and swimming.
Directly opposite Sol Senamor and in full view is the fantastic Mount Maroma, at 2,066 mtrs, higher than Ben Nevis!
A local swimming pool is open during summer months.
